1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Photo GeoPro handles information when you use our iOS application and its Apple Watch companion experience. Photo GeoPro is designed for GPS track recording, route visualization, and photo or video location metadata management.

By using Photo GeoPro, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect or Access

Location Data

Photo GeoPro may access your device location when you grant location permission. Location data is used to record GPS tracks, display route information, calculate route statistics, and match photos or videos with nearby recorded track points.

Photo and Video Metadata

Photo GeoPro may access your photo library when you grant photo permission. The app reads media metadata such as capture time and existing location metadata to match media with GPS tracks. The app writes location metadata only when you explicitly choose to synchronize matched media.

Apple Watch Data

If you use Apple Watch recording features, GPS samples, recording state, and related device information such as battery status may be transferred between your Apple Watch and iPhone to support recording and synchronization.

App Settings and Local Data

Photo GeoPro stores app preferences, recording settings, matching settings, GPS tracks, and optional exported files on your device.

3. How We Use Information

Photo GeoPro uses information only to provide and improve app features, including:

• Recording GPS tracks during user-initiated recording sessions.
• Displaying routes, path points, distance, duration, speed, and elevation information.
• Matching photos and videos with GPS tracks based on capture time.
• Writing location metadata to selected media after user confirmation.
• Exporting route data or backup files when requested by the user.
• Maintaining app preferences and recording configuration on the device.

4. Local Processing and Storage

Photo GeoPro is designed to process data locally on your device. GPS tracks, media matching results, app settings, and backup data are stored on your device unless you intentionally export or share them using system sharing features.

Photo GeoPro does not require account registration, does not operate a user account system, and does not upload your GPS tracks, photos, videos, or backups to our servers.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use your personal information for advertising, cross-app tracking, or behavioral profiling.

If you choose to export, back up, or share data through Apple system sharing features or third-party services, the handling of that exported data is controlled by the destination you select.

6. Third-Party Services

Photo GeoPro uses Apple system frameworks and services, including location, photo library, Apple Maps, and Apple Watch connectivity features. Apple’s privacy practices apply to Apple services and operating system features. For more information, please review the Apple Privacy Policy.

Photo GeoPro does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking technologies.

7. Permissions

Photo GeoPro may request the following permissions:

• Location Permission: Used to record GPS tracks and display route information.
• Photo Library Permission: Used to read media timestamps and existing location metadata for matching.
• Photo Library Add or Write Permission: Used to update media location metadata after user confirmation.
• Apple Watch Location Permission: Used when recording GPS samples from Apple Watch.

You can grant, limit, or revoke permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

GPS tracks, app settings, and generated files remain on your device until you delete them, reset the app, or uninstall the app. You may delete tracks and manage local data from within the app when these features are available in your installed version.

Photos and videos remain in your photo library. When synchronization is requested, Photo GeoPro updates location metadata for matched media; it does not upload or create server-side copies of your media.

9. Security

Photo GeoPro relies on Apple platform security and local device protections, such as passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and operating system security controls. We recommend keeping your device and operating system up to date.

10. Children’s Privacy

Photo GeoPro is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require account registration and does not upload personal information to our servers.

11. International Users

Photo GeoPro may be used worldwide. Data processing occurs locally on your device regardless of your region, unless you choose to export or share data through third-party services.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
